People of Note (PON) began as a fund-raising arm of Music for Minors, www.mfm.org, producing children's concerts and educational workshops over 20 years ago. Our mission is to provide quality concerts and other events to the community with proceeds going to the support of music education for underserved children.

In 2002 we became a separate non profit organization (501(c)(3)) to bring artists directly into schools and other venues.
